Loudspeaker Components, L.L.C., is one of the largest U.S. manufacturers of speaker cone assemblies, paperboard gasket, dustcaps and spiders.

The company supplies all segments of the loudspeaker industry, including OEM Automotive, Aftermarket Automotive, Professional, Multi-Media, Hi-Fi, and musical instruments. Order sizes range from several hundred to several million pieces per year.

Paper cone performance is also tailored by subjecting the cone body to a treatment process in which the paper cone is saturated with a variety of waterproofing, stiffening and damping agents. There is an infinite number of treatment combinations available.
Polypropylene and other plastic composite speaker cone bodies:

- surface finishes and textures adjustable
Speaker Surround materials:
- phenolic impregnated cotton cloth (available in several weaves and stiffnesses)

All surround and spider cloth treating and foam skiving is done in-house to allow us to meet your desired resonant frequencies and loudspeaker component performance characteristics.

The LC catalog lists tooling available to our customers with no tooling charges. Additional assemblies can be manufactured to your specifications with minimal tooling charges. We developed a sophisticated computer program that mathematically joins any surround with a wide cone body selection. This is a great tool that allows the loudspeaker cone and surround designer to answer the loudspeaker designer's dimensional inquiries efficiently in the event you cannot find a speaker cone available in our web based catalog.
